I have never understood this concept of joining a group as opposed to leading a group. Maybe that is just me, but when I'm with one other player I post that WE need 4 more, and pick my own randoms... as opposed to trying to find a place in an already established group. You and your missus ARE the already established group. Try using the LFG tools in the opposite manner more. Doubtless you will get more respect if you are the leaders.

  • I would say, in just terms of finding raid groups, that if you have 3 or more you are the established party.

  • I often decide that I alone am the established party. I would rather raid with 5 complete strangers meeting for the first time than be the 4th, 5th or 6th wheel in any group. My group often is looking for only 1 or 2 others and it's really really hard for them to slot into our established group. The only people that I have met via LFGs that have stuck around in my group are either those that joined a smaller version of my group and weren't outnumbered, or those that came with at least one friend. I do feel sorry for those that join us sometimes, especially the more delicate of the Americans. I often add words to the effect of "warning, you will be exposed to coarse/toilet/sexual humour if you join us"... and that's just from the girls in the clan.
