I would like to point out to everyone though, that red barring is very rarely the players fault. Its usually destinys servers. Easy way to check that. Whats your bar like in orbit? Green. Whats it like in a game of crucible? Red. That means its destinys servers and being match made with people on the other end of the planet. Unfortunately the player cant fix that. And FYI, red barring happens to E.V.E.R.Y.O.NE. Even the people complaining about it.

I occasionally red bar and I will admit that most of the time its my internet connection, I get around 25mb/s download and a 4mb/s Upload so I fluctuate a lot, usually I am red barring when entering the match or matchmaking and once its started I have yellow or green

P2P... no server involved. You connect to other players. Green bar in orbit - yeah nothing is constantly loading. Red bar on launch - now you're getting it. Everyone is connected to one player. Everyone loads up the part of the map they run to on the host's connection which turns green to red.

Im sorry but this is completely wrong. There are no servers for pvp, its peer to peer connection. Also the connection bar is YOUR connection to that person. You can see someone red barring but others won't. Of course you'll be green baring in orbit because you are the host unless you joined someone else.

It's players with 2mb connection, I have no problems at all, I know he servers are crap but it's the players not destiny

I would say I have an average connection, 50down, 5up, and i NEVER red bar, ever and please don't tell me it's bad for those who do too, because more often than not i see red bar(on)s leading the scoreboard
