I know the title may be inflammatory to some, so I'll start by saying I love the destiny community and usually have no issues.
Anytime I raid with a team that's over 50% strangers I always wind up getting kicked. Regardless of my K/d, light, dps or general wipe-causing--blam!-ups I'm always the one kicked.
Am I being paranoid? Or am I being penalized for bing a girl?

Edited by SK8ITUP53: 4/29/2016 4:29:29 PMEdit: I am speaking about how online translates to real life, and not saying this is causation for her getting kicked, but merely a correlation between what she thinks is happening and why she has reason to POSSIBLY think that. There is a real issue in gaming and the computer science field right now for women. They are under represented and are harassed and verbally assaulted constantly. I'm sure someone has already called you an attention whore on this thread for simply saying you are female. I do not think you are being kicked because you are a girl in this case, confounding variables are at play I think. However it does at least bring the issue up. I've seen some brutally cruel things being said towards women on xbox live and on the forums. Side note- I bet that if you put the guys who say these thing or act this way online physically in front of the woman, they would: A. Not be able to say it to your face and B. Probably not even talk to you because girls are intimidating to them and they have no idea how to handle themselves. Hopefully it's not because of these things, but it really pisses me off. Guys either cream themselves because they found a girl gamer and just want to get in their pants, or they immediately jump to harassment. I hope this doesn't keep happening (by that I mean the way some gamers use the Internet to speak to women), and from the guys who aren't scum, we apologize for their behavior. Add me, I'm always down to play regardless of who it is as long as you aren't just super bad.
I'm not good so that's easy lol
