I've learned by my interactions with other Eliksni after the guardian updated my AI, I'm guessing he added more intelligence to it.
I can still beep and boop like normal shanks though it mostly just happens when I scan something

Depends on the shank, no? S.A.B.E.R-2 didn't easily die. But for the most part, we shanks are made of light armour. Stupid "attack in numbers" never worked.

Ah, those die easily as well. It seems if you put a cloaking device on a shank though, it could make it past. It might sneak through lines.

Plans and secrets. Shank can be outfitted with a better microphone, to pick up sound from farther. Is not this what you need?

I do not trust you. Collect data, you do not? As for Guardians, they are not to be trusted. But, Variks...sounds Eliksni. Xirsiks is unfamiliar with this name.

I only collect sometimes, and that would only be if Aerile, Nuke, or Tabetic request it. As for Variks, Variks works with guardians. Variks is part of the House of Judgement. Aerile's mentor I'm also pretty sure, no?
