Nuclear power is not a bad thing and rather than demonizing it we should look into technology that could make it safer and more effective.

It's just that, when it fails, it fails monumentally. Kind of like how taking a car or bus is way more likely to kill you than taking a plane, but when a plane goes down, it gets noticed.
