Dread fang quest

I have ttk dlc an I downloaded the new April update and when I went to the reef to collect my quest from Variks for the new taken sword, there was no quest there. What do I need to do to activate this quest?

Hello! You will need to unlock the ability to Patrol the Dreadnaught. Please continue playing the Taken King storyline until you complete the mission called Dread Patrol. :)

You need to play up to the Dreadnought Patrol quest then those quest line will unlock
