Since Bungie decided to limit ammo carried capacity for special and heavy weapons in PvE for PvP reasons, we need a workaround for PvE.
My suggestion is to reduce the cool down on special and heavy synths from 5 minutes to 2 1/2 minutes. This would help tremendously.
What do you guys think?
Edit: Alot of people think Bungie should revert the nerf instead. I completely agree with this sentiment.
I'm thinking realistically because I doubt they will revert the nerf. Adjusting the cool downs could help with the issue. I found myself running out of primary ammo because of the scarceness of heavy and special ammo in pve.
Paperwingz77 suggested separating the timers. That is a excellent idea too.

Edited by BRAZACK: 4/18/2016 7:16:17 AMI think they plan on selling ammo soon....eververse lol. Thank god i havent touched destiny since darksouls3 csme out. I was just checking the forums to see whats been going on. We all need to make a stand for them to start listening to us. If u guys keep playing and throwing money at the screen they will continue to screw u over. U need to stop supporting them for a while and they will be making the changes u want. Ds3 will keep me busy for a while, so i wont be playing this nerf fest.

I'd rather just have ammo drop properly than wasting synths.

Need to be put back how it was in year 1

I just want my power weapons to feel powerful in their respective roles. That's a 2 birds one stone solution honestly.
-
I also don't see why you're more interested in special ammo than resurrecting teammates, as the overshield nerf really affects me quite a lot more than special ammo, especially in end game pve content.
-
They need to remove the random aspect of ammo drop rates by revamping the entire system, probably using the amount of ammo (or the lack of ammo) that a guardian has to base the chance that guardians will receive an ammo drop. If this is already the system in place, it should be readjusted because it clearly isn't working.

Had this convo during the raid a couple days ago
-
I would love it. But, Bungie won't do it. They'll just adjust the ammo drop rate for Special and Heavy to be even more frequent to make up for the emptier mags.
-
Oh, and this... Purple ammo crates that drop one (1) rocket are a waste of time, just in case the obvious isn't... well, OBVIOUS to Bungie.
-
Well the nerf for PvP is fine I can deal with it. However the fact that I think the special ammo is taking place of the heavy and primary is bullshit. Bungie is too lazy to separate PvP and PvE respectively because it takes a little more time. They haven't figured out yet that because one affects the other they have to go back, readjust it a few times to get it right. Why not use the little extra effort the first time and get it right?

I have a solution for it remove the ammo reserve nerf and tell the crucibitches to get the f,uck over it seriously the crucibitches need to harden the f,uck up and deal with the fact that there are better player than them

Hmm, maybe we should start helping Bungie nerf this game to the ground. I got some idea's. 1) Nerf Sprint. We shouldn't be able to run as long. 2) Nerf the titans and warlocks glide. 3) Nerf hunters jump. Hell nerf all thev characters jump. 4) Nerf how how far grenade can be thrown and take tracking out of the game. 5) Nerf the radius on all supers. 7) Nerf the damage on all supers, grenades etc. 7) nerf Shields, we dont need them. 8) Nerf all exotics. Gear, weapons, class items. They don't work in every event anyways. 9) Nerf helth regeneration. 10) Nerf the purple ball. Its to Op now. 11) Nerf or sparrow's, they are too fast. I think all of this would improve this game :)

Yeah the timers shouldn't be 5 minutes for each the at least. 1.5 min for primary, 3 for special, and 5 for heavy.
-
-
Undo the old ass nerf to ammo synth. Make em cheaper again and for 5 from Xur.
-
I think they should revoke the nerf immediately.
-
Did PoE Challenge and NF last night. Had no trouble finding special ammo, in fact had times when i had to leave bricks on the ground. Heavy ammo drops felt the same as they've always been...
-
They could also buff synths to give a carried ammo increase, essentially letting us keep our old amount for pve as synths can't be used in pvp.
-
It's fine. I've yet to run into any serious ammonia drought issues. I'm finding I'm relying on my abilities more though.
-
That's a solid idea. I usually get a decent amount of heavy with ruin wings on, but not always. But I used a hawkmoon in the challenge mode poe and was having ammo issues. It seems to hold less than my new Monarchy hand Cannon does.
-
It would be helpful, but honestly they should just revert it.
-
Or they could just stop nerfing shit in the first place.
-
My solution would be to reverse the nerf.
-
Make synth timers separate.
-
I think they should just give our ammunition back and quit -blam!-ing around
-
I think that by the time they could re-code the synths they could fix t the drops.
