[u]Balthazar, still disoriented from your previous attack, trips over you as you try and get away, crashing into the wall. Most of the wall crumbles, leaving a large cloud of dust blocking your view. From inside, you hear Balthazar say something.[/u]
I haven't used this core in a while. Lets see how it fairs.
-Death core activate-
[u]Suddenly, you see a thin figure speed out of the dust, nearly impossible to track due to it's speed. It charges at you, sliding under your legs. At first you think it missed, then you realize that your ankles are bleeding, as it slashed one of your tendons.[/u]
Let us see how you fair against death reborn.
[u]A long, spindly figure can be see behind you wielding three foot long claws that seem to be impossibly sharp. The figure is so thin that you might think it had been a dried up mummy. The figure's body is completely black, other then the blood on his blades from his previous attack.[/u]

Ah... [b]Due to the injury, I am bleeding heavily, and moving with a noticeable limp. I put my guard up, with small electrical shields extending from my wrists and shins, and activate my helmets targeting system to try and keep track of you. It only partially works due to the damage from the punching.[/b]

[u]Balthazar slowly crouches, then dashes at extreme speeds in circles around you. You can see bright jets of blue flames coming from joints and ports in his body, causing him to speed up and leave a mild after image. He slowly tightens the circle. You can sense the malicious intent coming off of his body, and you suddenly realize he intends to end the fight here before you can hit his fragile body.[/u]

[b]Thinking quickly, I hold both of my swords out into the ring created when you circle around, powering them with my armor. This leaves me partially exposed [/b]

[u]You suddenly feel your sword hit something and a slicing sound is heard. The sword is yanked out of your hand, spinning with the circle. Suddenly, Balthazar jumps in from behind, impaling you at the base of the spine, disabling your lower half completely. As you turn your head to look at him, you see your sword stuck in his midsection, having cut through most of his body. The only reason he's still alive is due to realizing what you were doing and slowing down, otherwise he would have been in two halves. The sword slides out of the massive cut, leaving him looking like he's about to fall apart. [/u] -Target terminated-

I am able to stand up, but just barely. I begin shuffling towards you with my remaining sword, extremely disoriented because of the blood loss. It is extremely difficult to remain conscious[/b]

[u]Balthazar draws a long staff. As he brings it forward, a blade unhinges, revealing it as a reapers scythe. You realize, in terror, that this monstrosity intends to kill you. [/u] [i]I am the one who reaps, the one who stalks the hallows. I am the one who stalks the dead, and brings them into the shadows.[/i] [u]Black mist starts to pour down out of Balthazar's body, creating a terrifying sight. As he moves towards you, the mist covers the massive gash created by your blade. As he gets closer, it forms a black cloak and black wings.[/u] [i]Prepare to cross over[/i] [u]Balthazar swings the scythe, cleaving you in half. White light bursts out of your halves, playing back your memories, the faces of those you loved, and those that you hated.[/u] [i]It has been done.[/i]

[b]Literally cut in half, I am about to die. But not without a bang.. My armor detonates, unleashing all of the power that went unused through the fight into the area in a large explosion[/b]

[u]Balthazar notices what you're doing a few seconds too late. As the explosion starts to go off, he rips off his own head and throws it as hard as he can away from you in an attempt to save his cores. His body is completely and utterly destroyed, but he manages to save his cores.[/u]
