You have probably noticed some of the obvious references in the Destiny universe, like the similarities to the Cthulhu mythos by Lovecraft, or the ornithological names in the warlock wardrobe. One of my favorites is the Arminius-D which is probably a reference to Battle of the Teutoburg Fores and chieftain Arminius.
