*unsheathes a hand and a half broad sword, the blade somewhat reddish in color, with ornately forged snarling wolves forming the cross guard, a hilt wrapped in thick polished metal wire, and a large deep green jewel imbedded in the middle of cross guard between the two wolves* "During my travel I encountered a master blacksmith, my sword at the time was worn out and too short for me, I guess the blacksmith, larkor was his name I believe, saw something in me because when I asked him if I could buy a sword from me he denied me and told me to come back after the rest of the shops closed. I did as he said and he brought me into his forge 'no sword I have on display is good enough, I am going to have to make one sepcial for you.' He then used a special metal, the name of which I do not know but the matal combined with the lewel in the cross guard give the metal special abilities."

*Pulls out a katana with a blade that faintly glows white.* "My story is much less interesting but a little more odd... You see, I think I came from another dimension. I worked in a lab but one day there was a bright flash and I woke up in the woods. I seem to remember that I saw this sword, my flamethrower and my duster back in that lab... The duster is fire-proof, the flamethrower throws flames but this sword controls the air around it..."

Besides never dulling, scratching, or staining I'm not sure, I've seen it do some pretty crazy stuff like get super hot, however I have no idea how or even if I can controll it, but yours can blow shit apart and you can controll it!

"It really depends... My sword isn't magic, I think it's solar powered so it can run out of energy. And blowing stuff apart isn't always an advantage. Guess who has to fix the gate?" *He points to himself. * "Your sword does have advantages though... The blade seems to be invincible and like you said, it sometimes gets super hot... What if it heats up so much that it can melt armor?!"

"I'm not exactly sure that's it..." (I saw what you told mortar, you should probably stick with the one backstory...) "I haven't seen you do this yet..." *He holds up a piece of armor that he didn't have before.* "Since that happened I just randomly get stuff... This is helpful though... Maybe if you set the blade of your sword on it and imagine the blade heating up as if you know it will, then it might actually heat up. " (I suppose you could still change your backstory...)
