Honestly I'm just tired of all the weapon tuning. They just need to leave the weapons alone.

  • Tuning is necessary. Just think if they had used your logic last July and we had been stuck with the ridiculous Thorn/TLW/Shotgun meta forever......or at launch when Vex Mythoclast killed in 3 shots and had a 66 round mag......

  • Additionally, every single weapon they release from now on will get nerfed at some point. It's inevitable. They can only do some much play testing. Once those weapons get released into the wild, we find out how to exploit them, causing them to get nerfed back into the ground just like all the others, making them only average then. I don't consider those special weapons then.

  • Yeah, and I don't think that is necessarily a bad thing. Most of the exotics were overpowered in their own way before they all got nerfed. The way I see it, if they were all just a little bit overpowered, that makes them ALL good choices to go into the crucible with. Then the fight comes down to class, perks, and individual skill. Every guardian would be a badass. I hated Thorn and TLW. Never liked them. But I'd take Hawkmoon, Hardlight, Mida into battle and wreck shop against those thorn users. Therefore I'm a badass with certain OP guns while you are Badass with your weapon set. And I sure wouldn't cry nerf either.

  • Agreed. They nerf and nerf, then mess it up. Then balance, then mess it up. Then buff and ruin it. Instead of spending so much time attempting to extend game play by changing the dynamics of weapons we love or hate, just give us some quality content. This crap is why everyone on my friends list is off playing The Division. The Division isn't a great game, but at least they don't -blam!- with you every other month and act like it's what everyone wants. Fix the lag. Make some quality strikes or Raid and deliver new weapons and maps. STOP NERFING AND BALANCING SHIT! We spend months ( now years) learning to be good with something just for them to change it or take it away. -blam!-ers.

  • One of the things I really liked about destiny was ask the different weapon variations. The player would find a gun they like and stick with it. It allowed for players to be individuals cosmetically and tactically. But they continue to balance all the weapons till they are all in the happy medium (average) range and then we all become the same tactically. They just need to leave the damn weapons alone and let RNG give us the rolls they give. If it's a good roll, then that's great. Kill more people. If it's a bad roll, then keep grinding for that good roll. That's how you slow drip the grind IMO.
