Ever thought they changed it to make these bosses harder too? Use more than a sniper. And Black spindle made things super easy. Now you will need to use primary and heavy as well

One of the easiest expansions of all was House of wolves . like we just blew stuff up. It was also one of the most fun

  • That's true, but the way that King's Fall is design, it requires a high amount of sniper rifle usage. Weapons like the Spindle and Yasmin are perfect due to their reloading abilities which pump out the maximum damage possible in the shortest amount of time to avoid enrage mechanics. You can't do that with the Fusions/Shotguns/Rockets because the first two just don't do the large crit damage and the latter not doing crit damage altogether. Forcing us to rely on primary and heavy (when heavy barely drops as it is) is a horrible way to make players play, when the content is designed around special being used as the 'primary' way to kill a boss. Tearing away the ammo capacity makes these encounters incredibly difficult to complete in comparison to how they currently are. I'll also make note that currently Quillims is the most used heavy for endgame content because of how good it is, and it's being nerfed similar to how the snipers are. If you're a top tier player, this isn't going to affect you in a detrimental fashion as you'll find ways to bring bosses down in a single cycle if you're lucky. But the average Destiny player isn't top tier and are completely average - struggling with endgame content is normal. This is just going to make it impossible to clear in any reasonable time. tl;dr they better buff the ammo brick drop rate by at least 250-500% to make this viable in endgame content, otherwise barely anyone is going to complete the bosses without triggering an enrage.

  • Well I think they want you to juggle with raid weapons. Empty Yasmin switch to quillim (spellcheck) then switch to primary. Repeat if you can. And I do agree I hope the bricks drop rate increases a lot and not no dang .04% lol

  • Both of those Raid weapons you mentioned are being severely hit by the ammo nerf. So conventionally teams could 1 cycle the bosses at 320 light, this isn't going to happen anymore since you just don't have the ammo to last a single cycle unfortunately.

  • I don't believe bungie wants you to 1 cycle a boss lol

  •
I don't believe bungie wants you to 1 cycle a boss lol
Which is ridiculous really. That was something that we had fun striving for.

The majority will go back to playing The Division or playing other soon to be released titles. I assure you if there is any hint of continued frustration in completing boss challenges due to all the nerfing and patching, the masses will drop this game like a bad habit. Don't forget, The Average player outnumber the so-called top tier players who are in reality no better than anybody else.

  • You say that but when you stand back and watch, most Destiny players are addicted to the game. They always say "screw this game, I'm done forever. New games are so much better", but when those get boring what game do they return to? Destiny almost every time. Somehow Bungie has made Destiny into a masterpiece addiction simulator which people love to hate and hate to love.

  • You could justify your response if The Gjallarhorn and Icebreaker or any weapons of that caliber were the ultimate rewards. But the new loot rewards and again light level increase are not worth the frustration. I used to laugh at all the Destiny killer or Destiny is dead posts, after re-evaluating this new April 2016 patch, I think the boys in Seattle have slit their own jugular arteries (throats)...........

  • There's nothing to justify though. People are addicted to the game while having full knowledge that there is nothing rewarding about it. Hence why I called it an addiction, because they can't leave forever and keep coming back. I'd love for loot to be an amazing feature of Destiny, but as you said, it simply isn't.
