Who said it needs to be DURING the damage phase?
Ammo runs during the ad phase is about to get A LOT more important.

You need sniper ammo during the damage phases because if you run out, your DPS will go down dramatically... Obviously.

Exactly. So make sure you have full ammo when the DPS phase begins. And the ammo comes from ads during the ad phase. I think raids won't be HARDER, but just longer due to that ammo nerf.

I don't think primaries run out of ammo THAT fast. Switch to primary when you run out. Once again, not harder, longer.

if you had to switch to your primary, youre doing shit damage. The point was the special ammo backpack nerf will suck in PVE because your potential damage during burn phases will be much lower due to lack of ammo. Additional special ammo drops do nothing to mitigate this.

No, you're doing LESS damage. Either way, the boss doesn't get any harder. It's just a matter of time.
