big whoop, use fusions here and there. Everyone has the odd sense of sniper enetitlement as though it is the only way to kill a boss or make it through PVE. Sniping is unbalanced that is why so many players in both PVE and PVP depend on it exclusively as a special weapon. When was the last time you relied on your shotgun to get you through the King's Fall raid?
You still have your comfort weapon.

Well, the problem with fusion rifles is they don't dish out critical damage. So, for instance, there's no way in hell you would be able to take down Golgoroth using fusion rifles because you're just not going to do enough damage. Rockets are the same, sidearms don't have enough impact, and shotguns don't have enough range to matter, so in DPS situations sniper rifles are absolutely the preferred weapon, followed by machine guns (also nerfed ammo), and then primary. It's not game breaking, but raid and strike bosses are becoming more of a chore. We can't get close to the bosses because they all have an instant death melee, so range is the only way to defeat the bosses. KF bosses all have the mechanic of "Stand in a circle and DPS" and the only real option to finish the encounters before enraging is sniper rifles.
