Well they want you to play the game as long as possible. So they make it more difficult for you to complete missions and bosses making you play the game more

You give them too much credit.... They make these changes with ONLY one thing in mind . . . BALANCE (Not a real possibility though) of PvP ! NOT ONCE, ok just the 2 or 3 things we used to do in the raid that they fixed (Push him off, lag him down) But, MOST of the "fixes" are ALL about how it is in PvP ! Truth is ONLY the Janitor (Jan-i-tor) at Bungie plays the Raid. . . they ALL only want a Halo remake with Crack-ti-vision pushing the CoD model down their throats for DLC & Micro-transaction cash-cows !
