In case you didn't know they also increased the amount of special ammo drops from PvE enemies. I agree it's a hard hit but at least they're trying to balance it out more. But to be honest, it's not that big of a hit because you can pick up more ammo. This could even be a good change, but we will all have to see how this plays out.
