I respectfully disagree. [IMO] People want to rush, rush, rush, rush...then rush some more. Viking Funeral prevents that, unless the person feels like dying from one shot. I've survived many Firebolts by just being patient instead of trying to continue forward. Patience is what's lacking most times, pull back, re-group, etc. Everybody's mad b/c they get burned carrying their shotgun then continue around a corner only to meet one round from my MIDA and they fall over. It's not Firebolt, it's the playstyle. I don't play my Hunter the same as my Titan nor my Warlock the same as my Hunter. If you know a team is running Last Words and shotguns you should normally hang back and draw them to you; create an advantage for yourself, play smart, tactics, etc. Striker throws a lightning grenade on a doorway, do you continue to rush through? Prolly not. You can spec for burn damage w/ chest armor or play it safe for a few seconds until you regen what you lost. The response of "oh it puts gets me low then I'm killed before I start to regen" is not accurate...that person was probably dead to begin with regardless of the burn. A person can adapt their play style to that of their opponents; hence the big deal about inspecting prior to a Trials match. You want to see what you're up against so you know how to counter. [IMO] Too much is being made over the Firebolt grenade; the same argument could be made for a certain Bladedancer grenade that likes to follow us through multiple rooms, way longer than it should. In the end though it's out our controls but it is great conversation.
