It should either by given the additional ability to grant you the keen-scout perk for free, or it should keep radar up while aimed with all of your weapons (except maybe snipers), not just your primary.
Minatosensei4's idea:
It needs the ability to keep radar up, regardless of the weapon type, and have enhanced radar like Keen Scout and Relentless Tracker. Perhaps the ability to highlight enemies with a red outline when ADS like the Signal MS5 Omolon sight.
I think the simple change from 'primary' to 'special', would make it relevant in yr 3.
-
i used to run knucklehead with tlw when it was broke as hell hahaha. how to get hate mail 101
-
Maybe give the helmet also relentless tracker?
-
Why would it need a buff? The ability to have spatial awareness while being able to [most likely] get the first shot off an opponent is already strong.
-
You know what would make it good? If either it gave you keen scout for free as stated above, or to tweak it a bit so it enables the perk for all weapons for snipers so patience and time still has an awesome perk to go with its camouflage
-
Yep, mine sits in my vault 100% of the time. Tried it back in y1, wasn't worth the exotic slot back then and sure as hell isn't now.
-
That would be nice.
-
I think it's a pretty solid helm the problem I had when using it was I relied on having that radar too much and when using other characters I'd be expecting radar to stay active which would throw my game off.
-
Good idea

It needs the ability to keep radar up, regardless of the weapon type, and have enhanced radar like Keen Scout and Relentless Tracker. Perhaps the ability to highlight enemies with a red outline when ADS like the Signal MS5 Omolon sight. Seriously. The exotics should actually feel unique, yet hardly any of them do. Twilight Garrison, Purifier Robes, Queenbreaker's Bow, Zhalo Supercell, Nothing Manacles, Helm of Saint-14, and Sleeper Stimulant are all prime examples of how exotics should function. They should actually do something unique.

It used to give you radar while ADS on all weapons (i think, I could be wrong) but then they changed it to primary only. In my opinion, it is good as is. Third eye is a very powerful perk IMO. So the fact that you can get it with ANY primary (First Curse!) is very strong. It just depends on how you want to use it.
-
Yes to radar on all weapons EXCEPT Sniper rifles.
-
-
If you have a primary with 3rd eye it's trash and who really needs to see the radar with a primary anyway? Unless ur trying to snipe with mida
-
It's op as fck anyway. Radar on no land beyond - suros pdx - ha d cannons with insane perks (without needing radar) I love my knuckle head radar helm!!
-
Have it grant keen scout if the weapon you're using already has the always-on radar.
-
Edited by Erijian: 4/5/2016 1:06:04 AMLegendary Sniper Rifles should never have a way to keep your radar up while ADS'd, so no to the second idea.
-
I love the knucklehead radar when I'm using my no land beyond
-
-
So then everyone has 3rd eye with their 1tys? No way man no way
-
-
Agreed

I agree it's just another useless helmet that has its perks on guns! Radiance dance machines and lucky raspberry can use sum bugging too!
