Meh, after accumulating nearly 4,000 kills with fusions in PvP alone I can pretty confidently say that unless you're planning on being a camper and hoping for someone to pass your corner, crouching isn't going to make a difference significant enough to try making it a habit. Having more mobility and turning speed to follow someone is going to win you a lot more fights.
