Why Final Fantasy 15 could go down as the biggest flop of 2016, demo performance analysis!

Pros: - Awesome soundtrack. - Possible good story. - Lighting, particle effects. - Summons Cons: - Foreign simplistic combat system that feels nothing like an FF game. - Main protagonist is a teenager with father issues, is a prince. - Main party all dress in black, have black hair, Noctis would be more fitting as an evil boss, rather than a hero. Maybe they're secret devil worshippers? - Awful Performance issues, proof is in the video for everyone trying to say they downloaded a magical version with no issues. - Steeping on rocks to change the weather, instead of having a natural day/night cycle. - Not staying true to its roots, annoying long time fans. - Clunky controls, camera. - Blurry graphics, jagged edges. - Carbuncle is a squeaker. - Magic Sucks

TL;DR OP is alternately making shit up he knows squat about, and trying to pass his/her opinions as fact. 0/10 arguments "simplistic combat that feels nothing like an FF game" The combat is far from simplistic and if you clearly didn't dig deep enough. And it feels to me like I always thought an FF game would/should feel if we were given full control over a character instead of menu-based-control. With the possible exception of how the magic system works, BUT we have no indication that is even how it works in the full game, as every FF game in the past has had items which cast spells on-use. "not staying true to it's roots and annoying fans" NO NO NO, FF15 stays plenty true to it's roots, while still innovating. In fact the only thing I would consider a drastic departure from said roots would be the move from an ATB system to a full control/fighter system, and even that is, while strange a new, a fairly logical progression for the series to go in. That said, I WOULD like them to continue making turn-based home console games (bravely default series is amazing but it clearly suffers from being portable). "characters have issues" Seriously what FF character cast DIDN'T have problems "Awful performance issues" Ran fine for me, and I'm not watching a 7 minute video about a demo I already played, at least not until I have some more spare time. "Stepping on rocks to change the weather, instead of having a natural day/night cycle." First of all they're switches not rocks, second of all it does have a day/night cycle if you wait long enough both in this demo and the duscae demo "Clunky controls, camera." Far from the worst I've played with in a game, and easily serviceable. Actually the only truly clunky thing I noticed was jumping, which was terrible. "Main party all dress in black, have black hair, Noctis would be more fitting as an evil boss, rather than a hero. Maybe they're secret devil worshippers?" Really? Really???
