I have to admit that some of the stuff i do with shotties makes my friends wonder wtf just happened! But I feel the same way about snipers for them. Iunno, i hate snipers mainly cuz it was never a big problem in early Vanilla and now it is. I have NO IDEA why its worse now but i know it is. Maybe thats why its such an issue, nobody knows how to fix it. Perhaps its just the community that got better overall at sniping and it was there all along?
