I just started sniping and man the real issue is the body shot damage.. Why aim for the head when you can drop health by 2/3 and then one shot from primary. This is the biggest issue imo, there is no downside to not landing the headshot. I have a feeling this will be changed and also special ammo is going to be nerfd again to promote primary usage which I will love.

Well it depends on how high the impact is. Not all snipers deal that much damage and unless you have Quickdraw or Single Point Sling good luck trying to swap to your primary and finish the kill while having returned gunfire back at you.

Edited by cuzzybubba1: 4/3/2016 11:26:24 PMNobody runs low impact snipers and I run a void Warlock and have no problem switching to a scout within medium range for a finish shot. 1k has a short stow/equip speed and if your primary does also you are good to go.

Most of the time if I body someone they either are smart enough not to challenge me again or get behind some sort of cover to which I can't get them with my primary.

I guess, my point being is that the body damage is still way to much no matter if the guy you shot took cover or not. The incentive should be a headshot or else you are screwed and I can easily land 2 body shots if I miss with a follow up.
