I completely agree!!! As soon as I see that the group I'm playing in the Trials are a sniping group I'm like "-blam!-, this isn't gonna be any fun". Especially in anything where level advantages are enabled it's all u see. It seriously takes all the fun out of it when u take 3 steps and get popped bc u are a few levels lower than your opponent and any shot they hit u with means death. Still I refuse to stoop to the level of sitting safely on the edge and shooting people instead of actually engaging in a fight. I understand it's part of the game but something about it makes me wanna bang my head up against the wall when I keep getting beat by these bastards no matter what other weapon I use. I thought maybe it was just me but I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one that feels this way. It doesn't take any more skill than the rest of the weapons we are still just pointing and shooting. The difference is that it's boring and lame and doesn't seem fair for a team that decides they don't wanna go that route.

Here's a tip don't walk head level down a sniper lane..
-
Everything is a sniper lane with shortgaze
-
So don't walk just about anywhere on the maps? Got it

head level Literally Jumping/Slideing into an engagement or never double peaking gives you an extreme advantage

Sitting back and sniping is a style of play opposite of run-n-gun. It's a strategy.. don't vent.. beat it. If you're a casual player the really good snipers are more than likely using a technique you would never think of and deserve credit.

Just point and shoot huh. Come on dude be serious if you want ppl to take you serious. Shotguns are body mass weapons.snipers are precision wespons.i been playing iron banner all week and see alot of shotty's, snipers and quite a few fusion rifles to. Snipers might need an adjustment but it won't stop good snipers. And if bungie breaks them then where is the balance and fairness in that.

Your probably right. Unfair probably isn't the right word. It's probably just that I hate taking two steps after spawning and getting killed. I hate getting revived and then killed before I can move. No these things don't happen all the time but nothing upsets me more than barely even getting a chance to do anything before my head explodes. I never have a problem getting killed in any other way. It's part of the game and if I had more time to play I could probably overcome it eventually. It's just an annoyance that keeps me from getting very far in trials.

Edited by kindaSketch: 4/3/2016 2:49:08 AMYea I feel ya. Whenever the person revives you their supposed to push you so you won't get res sniped. However I have no problem with bungie increasing res sheilds to withstand a res snipe. Or just weakening sniper damage so they cant. But they probably would have to reduce the over sheild of locks and titans bc that's a different story.

Super Secret Sniper Technique huh? The SSST. Must be above my pay grade.

The world hates a smartass skerlock. You'll realize that tomorrow when your swinging from the gallows.

That's not what I've found in my experience. The world is a big place with plenty of room for sarcasm sympathizers. I wasn't trying to piss anybody off. Damn. I told you myself that I die plenty so I don't see how saying that gets us anywhere. If there is a great technique that I don't know about that's fine. I wasn't even trying to be negative about it. I guess that's what I get for even looking at these forums. Take it easy

Lmfao..it was a joke bro..a line from a movie..priceless

lol, ok my bad, it's just that I've seen some really touchy people on here in the past while reading through some of this stuff. Obviously the reference went over my head bc I was like WTF did he mean by that? Lol
