I would have preferred this post if it wasn't littered with -blam!-. However you do raise an interesting point. However Shotguns are higher risk for the same reward when compared to snipers. However Snipers do need to be changed so that non precision hits do half the intended impact damage. This will mean that body shots are scrutinised against so headshots are rewarding. I also believe sniping does take practice and some people do make it seem effortless. If you look up a YouTuber/Twitch streamer called Hush, he is crazily good at sniping. He also uses a Weyloran's March which means he has to land headshots to get a solid kill. None of the weaken and finish off with primary bull.
