snipers take as much skill right now as it takes any FPS player to learn how to shoot with that games specific FPS mechanics (which is not really long give or take a few sessions or days)
now to pull of the jumping and quick scoping stunts most sniper pros do yes i'll agree that takes a bit more skill than the average player (however i don't agree that snipers should be allowed to do that.......)
but for the most part i think we can all agree that destiny has set the snipers bar pretty low even for an FPS......

This is the easiest game I've ever experienced sniping in. I get so many kills I absolutely should never have, and call out my own bullshit kills every time.

It's been a trend with Bungie games from the beginning. Swipe-scoping. Just like we did in Halo 2 and 3. Swipe and shoot. As long as your reticle is roughly head level. Garanteed kill. High aim assist makes this happen.
