So after a year of the community begging for sparrow racing, Bungie finally gave it to us in the form of the SRL event. Now, I am not saying that the SRL event should become permanent. But what I am saying is that Bungie should at least re-add the racing playlist to the crucible as a permanent event. That is the basics of what I think should happen with it, but some other oarts would be nice as well; [b]Revamp of the Shipmaster[/b] Amanda Holiday has been working for the tower for the same length as every other original NPC, yet she is the only one to date to never receive a permanent change to her inventory at least once. I say that Sparrow racing should gain it's own faction (aka the Amanda Holiday faction), which levelling up in it allows players to access a new range of ships, sparrows, shaders and a set of armour that is styled on the SRL armour. The faction would be levelled by completing SRL and by turning in bounties for Amanda Holiday to gain rep. At each level up we are presented with a level up package, which has a chance of containing one of her items. [b]Return of SRL[/b] The second part to my idea is that SRL should become monthly, like Iron Banner. We have all the set up for it anyways, so why not? The gear would be changed to match the new inventory of Amanda Holiday and there would be a chance at max light level gear by achieving max level in the event. However this would not interfere with Iron Banner, instead it would be spaced a week after Iron Banner has taken place.
