Felwinter's Lie Isn't the Problem

Go to the link listed above. There you'll find the perks for Astral Horizon, the Trials of Osiris shotgun. This gun will be super broken if it keeps these perks. If you don't wanna click it, let me explain. First off, it begins with a base range that us higher than Felwinter's Lie (25 base range vs 20, respectively). Then, it unlocks Rangefinder and Field Choke BEFORE it's first damage upgrade. That increases it's range up to approximately 44, assuming Rangefinder is applied after the bonus range Field Choke provides. If not, it will still have a stupid high range of 42. Than it gets Hammer Forged AND Shot Package. I don't know how much Shot Package increases range, but Hammer Forged adds another 40 range to the gun. Without Shot Package. I understand Bungie said these perks could be subject to change. Just imagine what this could do at 365 attack with those perks. I would also like to point out that there appear to be alternate versions. Destinydb has an alternate version (you can find it here: [url=http://www.destinydb.com/items/419995281-astral-horizon][/url]) where Rangefinder is replaced by Counterbalance, bringing the guns overall range to about 77. I also didn't include Rangefinders OVERALL effect, which would bring the guns total range to a terrifying 92 (technically 92.4, but I'm rounding). This range applies to the version that has Rangefinder. TL;DR: Astral Horizon will break the Crucible.
