Your talents give you diff added boost to damage.
You are correct it is not required to use the turrets to take out the helicopter. Nor is it required to use burn weapons to kill a boss.
And why isn't increased damage output and aggro assault by enemies in higher difficulties not a mechanic? It's only in dailies and challenges so why isn't it a built in mechanic. Not any different than the added health and sheilds of nightfall enemies and burn.
One thing I hate about destiny and always have is the synthetic hard mode raids that's only made harder because they take away revives.
I wonder how the raid in division will be, since it's required to use full strategy to complete a daily or challenge. with the added enemy aggro you have to use certain skills and roles just to complete those, so I wonder what the raid will be like.
Probably the same but harder.

Edited by Bob: 3/20/2016 1:59:23 AMlol it is way different. Changing how enemies work and fight in a nightfall (with burns or the many other mechanics) is completely different than the same enemies just with more health. and have you ever even done Kings Fall hard? they even added mechanics to hard mode other than taking away revives. and full strategy? I do the challenge mode without even talking to any of the other 3 random people I am with 5 times a day. if it's hard I don't even really take cover behind stuff Edit: what you are describing is basically switching your subclass in Destiny.
-
You're a liar, you do not do challenge mode like that. And yes I've done everything destiny has to offer. Day one player I love destiny. I can't be bothered with challenge mode in Kf though. I got tired of hard mode when I realized the weapons were exactly the same just diff color. Anyway, if you do challenge mode the way you say in the division you would have to have 500k health or more as well as 200k more of dps. So unless you have video proof I will call you a liar, my best friend has 150 dps and still can't kill a challenge enemy fast even woth team fire. Also it's not possible yet to have that much health and dps. Oh and saying destiny adds burns "and many other mechanics" do you care to name these other mechanics? Because excluding the raids and the one strike there aren't any that I know of. And yes adding burn is the exact same thing ass enemies having alot higher dps in higher modes. Oh and if you have 200k health you will still die withing a few seconds out of cover even standing in a heal station. I'm begining to think you have only watched streams of the division and not played, or you wouldn't have made that statement. There isn't a single player who can stand out of cover like that in challenge mode or daily mode. Unless you have all you stats into fire arms only and don't take a single bullet. But I doubt it.
-
Edited by Bob: 3/20/2016 2:06:47 AMnevermind, I already looked at your profile and I can tell you never did kings fall hardmode, so you don't know of the added mechanics. and lol I wasn't saying I don't use cover in challenge mode. I was saying I don't use cover in hard mode. have you even played Division as well? cause there is a difference. but I do challenge mode pretty easily without having to talk "strategy" with anyone else on my team. we just quickly power through, and my stats aren't even that great compared to other people that I have been seeing. Edit: and it is pretty possible to have that. People are claiming almost 300k dps with 100k hp already

Thank you for proving my point for me and not answering any of the question and showing your age.. I was through hard mode kf withing the first 6 hours of its opening then sherpa quite a few teams through it, though i couldnt get alot of them completed cause i like to sherpa 3 or 4 at the same time. Ok you obviously didn't look at my character. Shall I equip my 319 mirin with firefly. Don't look at my alts. Look at my only warlock thats leveled. Hard mode in the division can be done easily like that. But challenge mode cannot. Yes, I been playing division exclusively since beta then release. you Cannot power through challenge mode unless everyone is near max everything. And that's very rare to find. So as you've now proved youre just arguing for the sake of it and cannot hold an actual convo, I'll say again, check my charater again I spent 2 weeks running hard then stopped cause it sucks. No further communication will be had with me don't bother. If you'd like to prove your statements you're welcome to though I know you cannot, nor can you answer my questions. Have a good day. Maybe I'll see ya around when new destiny content releases.
-
Or you have four Smart Cover users! Can sorta power thru, but still not out of cover!
-
lol you mean your 302 warlock? oh yea I looked at him. but if you want to look at a merrian with firefly, you can look at my characters (any of the, I have 3) and what questions? the ones I already answered? what you talk about with your talents in Division is the equivalent of switching your subclass in Destiny. which isn't a mechanic. and you are humorous, or just very bad, if you can't already power through challenge mode. it takes me only around 20-30 min with completely random people
-
Yes my 302 warlock who's wearing regular crucible gear not my pve gear. If you looked at him you saw my completes. And yes all the questions you didn't answe. Good day.
-
haha way to respond again. so you said "look at my character for proof" I did and you know what I saw? no proof. I saw a 302 warlock as the highest which clearly hasn't done hard mode kings fall.
-
Ill keep responding as long as were not talking division and you keeo dodging..Oh you're going by light level. I though you looked at my stats. Any reall destiny player knows how crap raid gear is for pvp. That shits vaulted. Yea. No just look at my stats, I'm not gonna set here on the app and get all my pve gear out the vault and dress my toon for pve so you can see my 315. I have the hard raid crap amd blah blah blah, it all suck for pvp and I don't play pve, I'm not playing anymore pve untill new content, it's pointless. Lol
-
lol you already know a 302 hasn't done hard mode. cause no one would let a 302 in their raid, even at the very start. pls don't be so naive. and I haven't dodged anything, you are just in denial about how simplistic Division is.
-
Omg.. ok pal. Good day. Just fyi most of us did kf hard as 300 to 305. Lol. Keep dreaming you must have no friends or just suck that badly. Lol. Bye.
-
Don't mind him, thinking is tough! Makes his head go owie! Cause everyone always keeps their light at max levels.... Especially when there's not shit to do I PVE so no reason to
-
lol yea "suck badly" with a 320 and 2 319s, clearly I suck and have never done kings fall hard mode. oh wait, I am not 302 so clearly I have done hard mode. and I did the first kf hard when it came out at 309.
-
Sucks for you. We were all 302 ish and 312ish by the end. Oh well, some people need those extra light levels to be good.
-
lol do you even hear yourself and your badness? I was saying I ran it As soon as hard mode came out. and I was 309. even than they didn't let 302s in for hard mode. got the achievement when it was still 0.1% not that you would know, since you clearly never done it. keep playing Iron Banner and maybe you will get in the 310+ some day.
-
Yeah it's an easy ass raid. My first completion ever was hard mode. Can't imagine how easy normal mode must be. Just always felt like there were a ton of enemies missing. Not enough for six people to shoot.
-
Lol oo you got lucky drops to level fast. Yea my team ran it while it was actually hard at 300 to 305. Lol. Good for you though completing it as a higher light. We like it to be a challenge though so we didn't wait to level up.. lol. Oh well some people can't hack the challenge
-
Lol. Whoa. Can you say 5
-
Despite this turning into a pudding contest, the guy has points. Every single strike in Destiny feels unique and the bosses have different mechanics. They may not be extra ordinarily hard to overcome, but they aren't supposed to be. They are just ordinary strikes. Now the real question I'm going to put forward to you is when the first incursion comes out and it's nothing more than a longer mission, how will you defend that to Vault of Glass? VoG undeniably had interesting mechanics that went beyond 'more numbers'. From what we've seen from missions thus far, there is nothing to indicate it will be anything more than just more enemies with higher numbers.
-
I already stated that. I also never made any defense to divisions mission, I merely stated that they aren't any different to destiny except they are much harder and much more rewarding. And no none of the strike bosses have mechanics. Just different abilities. Just like in the division. I also stated that destiny and the division cannot be compared as they are 2 total diff styles of games. Division does have the same addictive search for weapons and armors. But that's its. I have to say the only reason destiny's strike are sooooo boring is because there isn't a chance at all to get anything good or even special currency after certain few strikes. At least in the division you have enemies that act and react differently every run making no single run the same and are much harder making the constant reward stream pretty addicting with no caps on any of it.
-
You are making excuses for flaws. Why?
-
I've always defended destiny it's not really an excuse, it's just how I feel about it
-
That would be clever and witty if you hadn't literally spent your entire post trashing Destiny. But the point still remains, the Division has some very clear and glaring flaws that are deeply ingrained. You even admit to them, but rather than accept they are flaws you excuse them. Say they are ok. It's like abused spouse syndrome or something. Was wondering why.
-
I defended them? No I think I agreed and said division had a better start than destiny and that it's either gonna get better or get worse. And no I didn't trash destiny I simply spoke on what's always been wrong with destiny since day one that just about everyone agrees with, and on that note I'll say it seems as though you're just looking to argue. On that I'll continue to speak on my experience in both games when the topic comes up. As of this moment nothing in the division bothers me in a negative way aside from key chest not dropping yellows, and shot gun npc being able to one shot you and you bleed out all in one shot. On destiny side I felt the same way for a few months, it's still a good game but nothing came as we were led to think it would. As I stated to the other guy they are both 2 different games and cannot be compared in such a way as they attract different gamers.
-
The only one comparing destiny and division here is you. It's pretty clear you are just a troll at this point who just wants to argue and one up people. So have a nice life.
