Bungie and the truth haven't exactly been bosom buddies in times past. I choose to believe that Bungie's telling the truth when they say we've already paid for the update (i.e., the update isn't free).

That's right. We don't need to pay now because we already paid for the update in the past. And already paid for = not free. Personally, I don't much care that the April update isn't free. I'm just happy for the additional content. :)

Yessir, that's true. I certainly don't remember reading anything about a Spring 2016 Update back when TTK was released. But yesterday Bungie (1) announced the April Update and (2) stated quite clearly that those of us who bought TTK have already paid for the update.

"included with your purchase". That means money unless you bartered for it cave man style.

Ttk was DLC beyond the season pass. I and many other consider additional content on top of a DLC free. It sounds like people are searching for any reason to be negative.
