IT'S A "DON'T NEED TO PAY MORE" DLC, STOP COMPLAINING ONCE..
Guys guys... About the news.. Be at least once happy...
It's a free DLC right, people working on that content are not making any money for the company. Yes they will reuse some stuff we had before, and that's totally fair. How can you make new content to make people happy and still don't waste too much money on it => reuse old stuff to make some new, that's a fair compromise ?
They have a team working hard on the next big expansion later this year and another team even bigger working on Destiny 2 for next year. It's not like if lazy developers were taking drugs with some Russian chicks around a swimming pool at the top of Bungie's building.
Edit: I saw a few comments about the DLC being part of TTK. So Instead of Free DLC, let's say then "you don't need to pay more for it" DLC. But I guess it's the same issue for any "Free DLC" (the division, the witcher...), it's never really free if you had to pay for a game at first. *Okay*
Edit2: Okay they get money from the emotes that many people bought. But if the money is an issue for you I guess you didn't buy any emotes in the first place.

Edit4: it is sad that I just wanted people to stop complaining and to just be happy once but they found a way to focus on FREE and DLC on my post and that's all... I guess I should just give up on them... :/

I appreciate what they are doing. Im just hoping they don't totally screw it up like they did when POE launched. Such a good and long lasting game type, that they just flopped on because of laziness. Add some random modifiers, change up the end boss. Whatever. That's why I'm reserved about all this and not jumping on the hype or screw it all train.

I am satisfied by the game I bought, it is worth the money I payed if not more. People who complain lack the insight about how much developing a game cost in terms of both money and time.

More like a emergency bandage to stop the hemorrhaging of players . Too little, too late. I just jumped back on here to watch all the fanboys get on their knees for Bungie as it throws them a couple of scraps to keep them in the game until their next big payout comes. I love how the fanboys act like Bungie is doing everyone a favor by releasing new "free stuff". It's in their calculated best interest to try and keep as many people playing as possible. I was die hard, but I'm not playing the same, essentially unchanged game for a year. I played this game more than any other game in my life. That original recipe of updating content on a regular schedule is what kept me in it. It was good, I loved it. But then they went away from that and so did me and most of my friends. They should get back to the recipe that worked or they will be like every other game out there. Pay your sixty bucks, play it for a month or two, then put it on the shelf with the other games that you got bored of.

It's not free it's part of the ttk Dlc that is why we are not having to pay.. [spoiler]we should not have to pay for anything till all exotics from year one have come to year two[/spoiler]

2 RepliesWhy does everyone say it's free? $150 for a chopped up version of Destiny. All of the current content was developed before the original release. They've been selling emotes, record books, sparrows, Halloween masks. All of these items were supposed to supplement new content not story modes ran in reverse with a different enemy. New gear? You mean the gear they advertised with the TTK expansion that hasn't been pushed out into the universe yet? The fanboy/fanman loyalty rivals that of a golden retriever.

It still boggles my mind how people get sooooooo upset over a game. I'm playing Destiny, Battle Front and the Division, when one gets boring I pop in another. You gotta keep at least 2 to 3 games in rotation. I didn't even noticed its been 7 months(dame that long?!?!) since the last DLC. Anyway just be happy we are getting something before Destiny 2. Who cares if it's been 7 months since they released content. You can't change the past. You can't get those 7 months back and you can't punish Bungie for making you wait. Having a sour attitude won't hurt bungie, it will only hurt you.

No, they are just reskinning stuff we already paid for that was made irrelevant (done on purpose). Very little will be genuine new content.

They complain about not having something, then get something, I'm pumped about this and looking forward to it. If it is PoE armor and it's PoE that we are being challenged with it's going to fun. If it drops higher light then use it to infuse. People wanted some old content to play, some wanted CE, VoG or PoE. Can't have it all, personally I would have liked VoG, but who cares. I love this game, no one is being forced to play this new content. Good job Bungie!

They're doing just fine, the event was merely time gated to form a bridge between now and fall. It's a brilliant idea really. In all honesty, I would pay anything for more content seven months later.

I'm glad they are finally giving us something free. But honestly if it's just a newer version of PoE I'd rather them give us nothing at all. The first version of PoE was dumb as hell.
