You guys gotta keep in mind that all resources are going into Destiny 2. The April Update and the Fall DLC exist so we have something (no matter how small it is) to chew on before Destiny 2.
Just play other games 'til Destiny 2 comes out. That's the only real content we're going to see.

Well, seeing as the road map is now completely fukked I'd say they've got plenty of time to concentrate and D1. It's not like they have to make a new engine (the longest proceas).
