    Very different actually these hurt you then your health starts to regenerate immediately. The firebolts hurts you a small amount, burns your health all the way down, rendering you from being able to recover and very weak and susceptible to pretty much 1-3 shots of any gun for about 14 seconds

  • Skip grenades will track you down and leave you with a sliver of health. Axion bolts track and lower health to red. All these grenades do the same job if not better as firebolts. Is your complaint the slow burn? Incendiary grenades fuction the same as well.

  • Incendiaries burn damage varies depending on how far away from it you are, and you get a decent amount of time to get away from them if thrown unlike the firebolts instant explosion, and the skip grenades only do that much damage to you if you stand right by it when thrown and pretty much let them hit you and don't run

  • Okay so then if all these grenades are just equal in your mind why do so many people believe the firebolts are op? Why don't we see threads about trip mines? About skip grenades? Only firebolts, why is that?

    Likely because hunters are getting killed by them and don't want to try different tactics. Isn't that how EVERYTHING else was nerfed. OP is the mating call for players who are used to simple builds and no adaptation. I main a Warlock and prefer voidwalker. Have I been burned by firebolts? Yes...did I keep running into the same spots feeding the tossers tactic? No. All grenades have got me. Evolving needs a buff

  • It's rather easy to bait the casual lock who tries for the easy kill/assist (same for the kamakize tripminer or armarmentarium lightning gents). After that you have at least 25 seconds (max discipline) to make them pay...if the grenade is the only thing holding you back.

    I hardly die from them, I usually live with a sliver of health, but that also implies you aiming and landing it right on me where as the firebolts can just be thrown in a general area
