Firebolt isn't OP.
DoT is.
Firebolt effectively removes you from the fight for an extensive period of time, this is what needs to be addressed. Double the damage, halve the time.

So you want fireboltd to go from doing a totalnof 157 w/dot to being able to do 314 damage no burn?

Double the burn (3 to 6) [just example numbers] halve the time (10 seconds to 5 seconds) This lessens the time you're vulnerable and allows you to get back in the game sooner, without breaking the grenade/build

That isn't what he meant. He meant do the same burn damage in half the time. Aka, double the damage per tick but make it last half as long.

Okay.. so now i dont have to wait for you to be low health, i can just rush as soon as the tag happens. Im down for that. One of my biggest issues with firebolt is that i have to chase down the enemy with the slowest subclass to confirm my kill.
