I think the etheric light system was the best. You could use it on any slot and it would be guaranteed max level and would be helpful now with people getting 4 320 chests and no helms

One to one would make it acceptable. But agreed double rng is just awful.

But the infusion would be a great system if it wasn't for the double RNG. Then no matter how much time has passed you can just use a weapon to infuse it up until you find something else you like. If things like the raid guns only dropped at max level it'd be the perfect system.
