But you can't just erase it from the equation. Trying to talk about the power of our Guardians without the Light is like trying to compare Spartans to Jedi, and saying that you can't talk about The Force. Just like the Force gives Jedi access to power that cannot be reproduced with technology, the same is true of our Guardians. The Cabal are the only players in the Destiny Universe that are limited to science and technology alone. The are a society that is analogous to that of Star Wars in its level of advancement...or about 10-20 thousand years more advanced than the tech that created the Spartan IIs.... ....and they are probably here in our star system, desperately trying to find a way to fight off The Hive in their own region of space. There is no way the Spartans win this.
