I think people just dislike how long the burn lasts. The burn itself lasts... what was it? 9 seconds or something like that? And it kills you if you are hit with anything else. I just think people consider it cheap. I too think it's a bit cheap but I haven't run into too many people using it, since I don't play Crucible much.
