So kill yourself and respawn? Do that in trials.

  • Yup. Chances are if you get killed after being hit by a firebolt you'd get killed after being hit by most grenades. Since you need recover time anyway and it doesn't take 10 seconds to pop a shot and finish someone off. Or run and block off your path with your own grenade or even a smokebomb, hit them with a grenade that can kill by itself, run crouch and then shotgun. Get around a corner then place a sniper at head height. Time a fusion rifle shot for them coming around the corner. Double team them with an ally. Double nade them with an ally. Or just run until you recover. Then next time you engage them, plan for the event you get hit by another one.

  • Wow, I never thought of these points. Wow, now I know. By the way junior, the other team will plan as well. In the century in takes to recover from the burn, the only thing to really do is to just run away. It would be idiotic to challenge, because here is the thing. It's usually not just a 1v1 scenario.

  • Inc. grenades are incredibly different from fire bolt. I very rarely get hit by those. When I do, it'll be the same thing. I'll just disengage, recover, and engage. Also, the damage from inc. grenades drops by a lot with distance from it. Fire bolts will always have the same amount of damage within the 6 meter radius

  • Sounds like a good plan. I do get that firebolts can keep you out the fight, I would not say they are op and they do require 2 other perks in order to do that. The problem is no one appears to be planning around them. There are things you can do, I rarely get killed by them. I'm not a high end player by any account but my guardian receives the same damage as the next. Raised all 3 to rank 5 in iron banner and didn't get killed by a single one. Got hit by a few though
