Firebolts, lightnings and wombo combo should all be nerfed.
English
-
Lightning grenades are fine. Unlike the other two, they require skill in placement.
-
-
Shouldnt be able to throw smoke and nade at the same time Lightning grenade could use a slight decrease in range. Firebolt... Idk what to even do to them but something
-
Firebolts: Deal all damage at once, or twice as fast Lightings: LOL wut Wombo Combo: It takes two charges to kill one person. With all classes, 1 grenade + 1 melee = kill. So not unbalanced.
-
wombo combo is fine, you are using a melee and grenade abilty
-
Except the melee at this point is literally a second grenade
-
So why isn't fusion grenades on your list? They are 1hk and track. So they are stronger the all three on your list.
-
Their tracking doesn't help at all, if anything, it makes it harder. The grenade is a one shot kill, but you also have to aim to use it instead of just tossing it and hiring three people who are now defenses.
-
Yes the tracking is weak compared to fire bolt, but neither lightning nor the wombo combo have tracking, so you have to be more accurate. I am just pointing out flaws in their logic. Fusion is 1hk, so it is stronger then firebolt and lightning. If you get it close fusion homes in, while lightning and smoke bombs don't. For the combo to kill you have to use both a melee and a grenade.
-
Yes because getting hit with a grenade and melee charge totally shouldn't kill you. Wombo combo isn't op. You're a bitch
-
Hide your KD.
Bitch.
-
Lol this kid and the lightnings. Unlike the other 2 Lightnings actually take skill because without right placement they are horrible unless you know your a dumbass with autism who wants to stand on one. Try to prove me wrong
haha you can't
-
Throw it on the wall next to the bad guy. It doesn't take a genius to figure that out.
-
Sure. But how about railings? How about odds and ends that have little -blam!-ed up angles like on Burning Shrine? Your statement about it isn't wrong in theory... But it certainly is much different in practice, where you think the grenade will do something, and suddenly its aiming 90 degrees towards the floor due to some unseen small nook in the wall due to odd angles on the map.
-
Lol you main a hunter you wouldn't know
-
Not only do I play Titan frequently, I've also witnessed lightning grenade strategy since vanilla. It's not too difficult. I'm not saying we need to nerf it I think it's fine.

-
Ill admit lightings take more skill to place, but you can be standing nowhere near them and still take damage from the pulses and they last for an eternity. Furthermore, two lightnings from the armamentarium is just obnoxious.
-
Thank You!!!
-
Although they can be destroyed similar to Trip Mines by shooting them. Imo, highest chance grenade to hurt/kill yourself with
-
One must learn to run away if they continue to take damage lol! GTFO
-
The same can be said about firebolts.
-
I keep hearing wombo combo lately, what is this?
-
Edited by Inf3Rn0 ShocKz: 3/6/2016 8:54:02 AMWombo combo is when a nightstalker throws either a vortex or voidwall grenade at the same time as a smoke. If you are hit directly it is inescapable and a guaranteed kill.
-
Just like fusion grenades. Only they have tracking, and still leaves you with a melee charge to use.
