A grenade that takes up 2 perks on the skill tree and it won't kill you by itself.. "but it takes you out the fight for seconds" a fusion grenade would have killed you stfu

I can only assume that those in here saying fusions over firebolts don't run firebolts
-
I don't run firebolts personally, I prefer fusion. I get 2 of them with my chest piece and I can have a longer Super and also the angel perk to hover when aiming. It's surprisingly good perk and is too overlooked imo. Great for finishing off fleeing enemies, hovering over doors with shotguns or just providing you with a surprise angle on your opponent
-
Might try that. I run firebolts with burn and think they're probably op. You can through one into 3 enemies and with a decent auto rifle finish all 3 off before they kill you. Me and my buddies ran 3 x Sunsingers in trials on Friday, it was hilarious.
-
Next time Mayhem returns, try - Flame Shield Radiant Skin Fusion Starfire Protocol Touch of Flame Viking Funeral Whenever I heard a Sunbreaker go off(Pre-nerf), I also popped my Radiance. I had so much fun landing Fusion grenades, and watching the Sunbreakers freak out whenever they couldn't kill me in one hit.
-
If you threw a range of grenades into a group then autorifled them it would work. It's also 50% of the sunsingers super so if they did get nerfed the super would lose effectiveness. I love fusions too much to run firebolt, I used to run firebolt but I like knowing that I'm never going to lose a close range engagement, I'm at least coming away with a draw if I'm packing a fusion. Changed over from warlock to another guardian and it took me a while to used to not hovering high up around corners with angel to avoid nades and shotgun rushers. No one ever expects you to be 20ft above them waiting with a shotgun
-
I'm not arguing firebolts vs fusions but most grenades don't have the insane tracking firebolts have. Completely negating the need for accuracy. You might want to try double fusions on the titan with armormentarim ( bad spelling) with the perk that charges your grenades quick with a full super. You get your grenade back every 15 seconds or so. It's ridiculous.
-
I've just got that chest for my Titan but I've reset my Titan 3 days ago, he's not not level 40 yet. The Sunsinger fusion grenades home like crazy compared to the Sunbreakers though. I use them in mid range battle and rarely miss a stick. I suppose theyre better because they are used in his super perhaps
-
I never use fusions and I tried that build on the titan and got like 7 grenade kills in my first game my sticking ppl. They track like crazy, in that the flight path of the grenade deviates when they get near to a target
-
I feel they used to track in the Titan a lot more, I used to main a sunbreaker but I noticed the change in the fusions and that's why I went off it. The homing on the sunsingers is still awesome
A grenade that takes up 2 perks on the skill tree and it won't kill you by itself.. "but it takes you out the fight for seconds" a fusion grenade would have killed you stfu
A fusion grenade can't take out an entire team.
-
A fire bolt can't take out anyone.
-
If you have any amount of damage it will take you out
-
So.. Like any other grenade? Except it has 0% chance of killing you on its own, unlike many other grenades.
-
Only grenades that can kill you on your own are fusion/magnetic/etc. solar and vortex only kill if you're an idiot and stand in it. Not only can firebolt take out out without even seeing you, as well as if you have any amount of damage, it burns for so long that all someone has to do is firebolt then chase you because you can't do anything about it

Edited by DR0PkickN1NJA: 3/6/2016 12:27:26 PMAll the sticky grenades, tripmine, incendairy, skip and scatter can all 1 shot you. I'm unsure if others can but most of the others aren't meant to, they're deterrants and used for blocking points off and still if you're exposed to one for long enough they can still kill you on their own. If you're complaining because you have received damage and then a grenade killed you whilst you were damaged you need to stop playing immediately. This clearly isn't the game for you, try Mario Kart. If you're complaining because you were hit by a grenade then tried to outgun your opponent whilst on minimal health instead of retreating from that battle you need to rethink your strategy. If you'd rather be killed by a grenade than burn for a little, jump off the side, walk out into open fire, thrown a grenade at your feet or walk out of bounds. A grenade that requires 2 other perks on the skill tree and still can't kill isn't op in the slightest, clearly you keep walking into them because you're incapable of learning an adapting.
-
I don't know why you would suggest Mario Kart. If they have trouble here, Mario Kart will eat them alive.
-
Nerf it so you can't turn a corner without indicating. Too many people are overtaking me on corners
-
Tripmine counts as a sticky and it wont kill hifh armour targets
-
They count as sticky but they can also kill you without being stuck to you which is why I mentioned them separately. They won't kill high armour guardians but a firebolt won't kill a low armour one
-
Really? I thought fire bolt + ToF + VF = kill on low armour
-
Not that I've ever seen
-
Skip can't kill you by itself
-
Thank you I was unaware. Haven't use the Bladedancer much, just assumed it was similar to Nothing Manacles + Scatter
-
No it's takes a lot of health of single target but can't kill an fully Heath guardian
-
Good to know, I always leg it when I hear them. They track you for days
