Fire bolts with two perks burn and keep an enemy for an average of 14 seconds. Basically keeping an enemy near death (one shot) for 14 seconds prevents a team push. Which would be fine, if the player did anything else but throw a grenade in the general zip code.

  • Okay, I'll give you one more shot. Your tag line says, don't mute try to win the argument. So let's try this dance one more time. You say run and hide. Which is fine, that is the way to survive. But, if you haven't played competitive games with objectives, there are lots of times that require you to push an objective. Take salvage for example, it last for 45 seconds I believe. A warlock running mac discipline can have a grenade every 30 seconds. Meaning that a warlock can single handedly keep you from the objective because you would be burning. So, tell me why it isn't over powered? Because most of the community tends to agree it is a bit too strong.

  • The nade will keep you for about 15 sec. If the lock is running high discipline, you still have 15 seconds to use your own nades and abilities.

  • One thing being OP, does not excuse another thing. That being said, warlock can one hit melee someone with low armor. Doesn't change the idea that fire bolts are op.

  • It is the only grenade that is capable of doing 170 some damage over roughly 14 seconds. It is the only grenade that does damage over time for such a long period of time, combined with the ease of use. While I may not kill with one hit, it is easier to use than grenades that can one hit. Being sticky grenades.

  • It's just the dot, there really should never be dot in crucible, everything that causes it is being called for nerfs, even last year thorns dot was letting the lowest impact architype hand cannon 2 shot people due to its dot....... Just remove that burn shit from crucible

  • That grenade was designed to quickly finish an enemy, not force them to run and hide for nearly 15 seconds...... Think long and hard at how they used to be used to how they are now used
