How weapons should work

So, Destiny is somewhat lacking when it comes to logic, so I'll fill it in for them. First it was Auto Rifles, then it was Hand Cannons and Shotguns, then it was Pulse Rifles, now it's Sniper Rifles. Why is that every time Bungie has contradicted there statement that "one gun should never be the best answer" every time they try to fix a problem? You know how shotguns used to fill the range gap without much thought? Blink and Shotguns were notorious, and not they're an oddity. Both were slowed down to the point they don't really work how they should. Isn't the point of a weapon to be slower when they have more range in real life because generally they have bigger barrels for that range? Complete oversight when it comes to this game. Hand Cannons and Sidearms should specifically be the fastest moving weapons in the game because they're the lightest. Shotguns should be around average because they aren't small, but have destructive power at those ranges. Auto Rifles should be somewhere in the same group, but should have more handling and hip fire accuracy if you want them in the close range spectrum. Pulse Rifles are supposed to have a lot of range, but should vary based on the kind of Impact they have. Low RoF weapons should have more range and stability for less handling, slower reflexes, and less mobility specifically because they don't have the rate of fire to make up for missing one bullet, but high RoF weapons should have less range and stability for better handling, reflexes, and mobility because it should work against weapons like auto rifle, hand cannons, and shotguns. Here's where Snipers are odd. You can move fast while the weapon is equip, but the thing is almost 3x as bulky as a hand cannon. Snipers work at long ranges, but can work at close range just as well with adept users. They keep nerfing ammo capacity when the answer is simply that they can have the weapon out all the time without any problems with there mobility. It was the same problem with shotguns, but shotguns had a justification for that mobility. Now, I'm a Hunter. I like the Titan and the Warlock, with there destructive abilities and all, but I'd rather move faster with my MIDA and Havoc Pigeon specifically because of that. I also use Last Word and a Eirene RR4 and have no problem Sniping and moving along to the next guy I see. It feels slower than what I use most the time, but not by enough. So I'd like to know what you think. Should they nerf the mobility on Snipers so that players aren't motivated to use them as a Primary?
