Almost yes. And there's no way oryx can be immortal once a forerunner dematerializes him from existence. Power to alter matter, time, and gravity being able to create and destroy planets or possibly galaxy's with their bare hands? Good luck

In Grimoire it says that Oryx is immortal, but like him against Atheon, idk how getting deleted from time would translate in an immortal God

Didn't seem pretty immortal after a tiny guardian beat him
-
Because he was in his throne space, he can only get killed there
-
Desticle. I think I have given enough valid reasons why halo would win. Stop defending when you can't halo your argument enough.
-
Well, if Oryx couldn't, then Atheon could just wipe away the entire Halo Universe from time
-
No he can't, his ability to warp reality limited to the Vault of Glass. Plus reality warping is well within the capabilities of people like the Flood Forerunners and Precursors.
-
See I've got you beat there. There's 2 different (possible 3) species that can already control time. Plus the vex were only able to do that in the vault itself. Precursors can already wipe vex from existence without even having to alter time instantaneously.

Read the second comment I put
-
I did
-
But, with the Precursor, it would win the one who does the first move

Edited by Edcub One: 3/3/2016 10:48:26 PMThe Precursors are beyond time and space. They are immune to all physics-based attacks. Even the Halo rings (which kill reality) couldn't kill the Primordial.
-
Edited by The Rookie: 3/3/2016 2:56:32 PMPrecursors are the first since they are alive before the vex and all life. They created the universe and all life.
-
Oh, and right now I have in my hand a MegaBloks Emile, a Halo3 Scout green Spartan and a blue Mark IV Spartan :)
-
Well, going down in the lore it is said that Vex are older than time. Going in that direction will not give an answer
-
Precursors are far before time too.
-
We don't know that like we don't know it for the Vex
-
Edited by The Rookie: 3/3/2016 3:05:21 PMYes we actually do. Research your halo bud
-
I mean we don't know who came first and we can't compare the Halo Universe and the Destiny Universe, they are two different things
-
We rationalize their capabilities as best we can and compare them to determine a "winner".
-
It's written in lore that nothing came before the precursors. Thousands of years maybe millions before time
-
I get ur guys point both races are very old but it is not possible to come before time. It goes against they physical, mathematical and hypothetical definition of time i dont give a shit what either games lore says. Also due to general relatively it is possible that even though a race has been around for billions of years there could be someone who relative to them has been around for a few seconds or much longer. Example based on earths location and speed the universe for us is 13.5 billion years old but elsewhere it could be 100 billion years old or even less than a minute old. Point is if one species predates everyone else in their part of the universe that does not mean they predate life elsewhere
-
Precursors are not of the physical realm, or they could've existed in the universe that existed before the main Halo universe. So it's certainly possible.
-
It is illogical to believe that life can predate matter. It is a huge assumption to say they predate the entire universe
-
They are not of our physics or concepts. They are not support to be possible in our reality. They can literally change the universe's consciousness and in extension the laws of physics to suit their needs.
