Nightstalker grenades are ridiculously powerful.. My basis for stormcaller having the worst ones is I've completed every subclass emblem quest except stormcaller because the grenade step is taking so long
Showstopper isn't as good as landfall because you get at least three of them
You being killed by tlaloc occasionally does not mean it's crazy powerful, I'm certain you're killed by mida 100% more often
Ace of Spades is better in pve, you know it, I know it, everyone knows it
You just know I'm right and don't like it lmao

Best Nightstalker Nade is the Vortex, the other two are completely shit in PVP, and then again, that seems to be the only mode that matters.

Well if we talk about pve nightstalker is arguably the best subclass in the game But in pvp even if one nightstalker grenade is good that automatically makes it better than all three stormcaller ones

Edited by Sturm with no Drang: 3/3/2016 2:28:52 PMWhile I must agree that Nightstalker grenades are powerful, I must disagree with your opinion over them being "ridiculously powerful". They are very confined to their aoe to do damage in so you have to be pinpoint when dropping them. When a grenade requires that kind of technical use it loses its potency in a lot of cases. Out of the three, the vortex grenade has the best aoe for causing damage and lingers in a spot better than most. Most of the time you'll need to combine it with a poison smoke in oder to get significant results other than keeping enemy players away from a single spot. Next, the issue regarding Showstopper. It is very much weaker than Landfall, not because of its limited usage, but because of its practicality. Landfall may be a onetime use, but it doesn't take away from the super's charge. It is an instant kill the majority of the time, but what makes it far deadlier is that it can be activated in the air. Trying to use a good shotgun to knock out a mid-air Stormcaller about to use Landfall and a grounded Bladedancer preparing for a showstopper have significant difficulties, but it's kinda easy to see which one you'll have a better chance at taking down.

Yeah but blade dancers get blink all the time in or out of super and it doesn't cost energy, if you wanna use ionic blink it costs a value perk row slot and super energy Gotta think of the super as a whole
-
Voidwalkers do too
-
Comparing stormcaller to blade dancer *brings up voidwalker* Correlation???
-
True, that's a good point you make. In PvP circumstances it's not as often that someone sacrifices attack power for evasion though. I can't really imagine how useful the Ionic Blink would be in matches like Trials since there would be a very few and rare cases that one would actually use it.
-
I don't use ionic blink, I prefer superconductor, and I'll use my exotic armor slot for landfall gauntlets Honestly though I prefer voidwalker with the ram, I'm just trying to get the stormcaller emblem at the moment
-
Best of luck to you. I've been trying to get the Titan Void and Arc emblems, but, aside from the grenades, the Super and melee parts are quite a tedious pain.

For defender use the purple force barrier gauntlets (forget the name), Monte Carlo, and a shotgun, the super portion of that is stupidly easy, easier than all others, for the grenade part just wait for mayhem and use magnetic grenades For striker also rock a shotgun and Monte Carlo but use insurmountable skull fort for the double melee, lightning grenades and armamentarium, I have 3 "double kills" to go with striker until I get its enblem Striker is pretty much the same as voidwalker so it's not too bad
