Several files begin popping up on the board, side by side with labels such as "Ignus," "Exalin," "Mind," "Sol Alliance," and several other cryptic labels.
[You must be joking.]

Edited by SilverPulse620: 3/3/2016 3:09:21 PM"You knew Exalin? My friend was a teammate of some of its members. I know a bit of the Sol Alliance, but what is this Mind and Ignus files?"-Quickblast *he opens the Mind and Ignus files
-
The "Mind" file opens, and the screen begins displaying diagrams of the planet Exalin, which appears in the split diagrams to have some sort of... Giant machine in the center. [Good lord, have you been living under a rock? Divine Armada of Vulcan? Eaters of Time? Enders of Life?]
-
Edited by SilverPulse620: 3/3/2016 4:38:08 PM"...Yes. I have heard some stories about such beings. Are you saying you are an Ignus?"-Quickblast *he scans the craft again, specifically the occupant
-
The craft is barely able to register, graphing trillions upon trillions upon trillions of parts smaller than atoms— some mechanical, others electrical, and more still living parts. Then the scans reach the occupant, and things only serve to get even more cryptic. The occupant is indeed machinery, and several files pop up upon scanning his parts detailing theoretical science ranging from near the dawn of humanity to present day. As the scans approach his center of gravity, the system begins to glitch, slow, and freeze, unable to comprehend the pieces inside. [That would be correct. I am Cain, former Ambassador of Koldraxion/Human Affairs.]
-
Edited by SilverPulse620: 3/3/2016 11:19:09 PM"Interesting. Nice to meet you Cain. So, where exactly were you going? And what the heck is a Koldraxion?"-Quickblast *he reconfigures the scanners and scans Cain again
-
Edited by Wretched Cain: 3/3/2016 11:24:29 PMThe scanners are met with the exact same results. [I'm not sure exactly where I'm headed.] Silence over the Comms. [What "Alliance" do you belong to?]
-
"The Intergalactic Alliance. If you want, I might be able to get you to my friend. I'm was on my way to meet him right now. You are welcome to join, if you like."-Quickblast
-
[My fuel reserves are low, and I doubt you have any Exotic Matter lying around. Permission to dock?]
-
Edited by SilverPulse620: 3/4/2016 12:00:34 AM"Granted. And, if you are looking for exotic matter, my friend is the one to see. He has more experiments then anyone else in probably the rest of the universe."-Quickblast *he docks his fighter with the ship, and stands at the airlock, waiting for Cain to walk in, his energy SMG at his hip just in case
-
I FINALLY found the image I was looking for.
The spherical pod begins to shift, the front dividing into several pieces as they begin to fade from existence, fragmenting in what appears to be small crystals before disappearing and revealing the figure inside. [Ugh... Do you have oil? I must've been sitting in oxygen for days... I feel disgusting.]
-
Edited by SilverPulse620: 3/4/2016 2:55:41 AM"You're in luck. Although, you may want to invest in Vibranium or Adimantium. Neither rust and both are very versatile."-Quickblast *he picks up a small can and hands it to Cain...so quickly Cain can barely see a blur of him move to the can and then to him
-
He takes the can, oiling his shoulder joints and thighs. [I used to have better Frames. Unfortunately, this was the closest one available when I made my... Escape. Solid Solarium— slightly less durable than most combat armors, but abundant and could conduct energy quite efficiently.] The servos let out a pop, and he grunts. [This frame, however, is not meant for combat. Not at all. Though, as a runaway, I'll most likely find it in my best interest to construct a new frame capable of such activities— disconnected from the Minds, most of my current mechanisms serve only to consume vast amounts of energy, and Exotic Matter will be quite troublesome to obtain.]
-
Edited by SilverPulse620: 3/4/2016 3:35:48 AM"If we can get to my friend, exotic matter won't be a problem. All I want to know is this:...What kind of humor do they have where you come from?"-Quickblast *he seems serious, but he also seems to be hiding something
-
[I... Wait... What? Humor is an unnecessary emotion. For the most part, it's disregarded. The closest thing that could be described as humor is the feeling of reveling in the demise of one's enemies.]
-
"Oh. Well...that's fun too. Just don't tell that to comedians."-Quickblast *he makes his way to the cockpit
-
Cain stands in the hull, confused. [What... Never mind. Where to now?]
-
"The Infinity. It's pretty far from here, so it may take a little while."-Quickblast *he sets in the coordinates, and the ship jumps into FTL, re emerging an hour later via a wormhole a few hundred kilometers away from the Infinity. Quickblast prepares to land in its hanger bay
-
Cain falls from a slight imprint in the ceiling, recalibrating his sensor arrays as he groans. [A warning would have been nice...]
-
Edited by SilverPulse620: 3/4/2016 4:07:30 AM"Sorry, but you wanted Exotic Matter. This is one of the few places I know of that we can get it, and not get killed in the process."-Quickblast *as they land in the hanger bay, they see a man in silver armor, his arms crossed, waiting for the fighter to land
-
[I know I said I was going to replace this chassis, but you could at least allow my brain the luxury of surviving your flying...] He looks around and out of the cockpit. [The Infinity... Fascinating.]
-
"Don't criticize my flying. I go for fast, not luxurious."-Quickblast *as he lands and opens the cockpit, the man outside speaks "I see you got a new ship, Quickblast. Who's your friend?"-Man
-
[Oh, for Vulcan's Mercy! Does everyone on this blasted ship live under a rock?] His servos audibly tense and relax in frustration.
-
Edited by SilverPulse620: 3/4/2016 4:58:02 AM*he turns back to Quickblast "Well he's rude."-Man "Yeah. He is some kind of Ignus-whatchamacallit."-Quickblast "Ignus?! Wow. It seems like all the stories of Exalin are true now. Makes me wish I knew them longer."-Man
-
He lets out an audible sigh, apparently doing breathing exercises— or at least, the machine equivalent. [That aside, I'm surprised nobody's tried to kill me yet. Didn't the Phantom fellow fit the cruiser with a sensor radar after Exalin?]
-
Edited by SilverPulse620: 3/4/2016 4:59:48 AM"It's a different ship from...wait a minute. You knew Phantom? You actually met the original Exalin crew? Who the heck is this guy?"-Man "He calls himself Cain. Some kind of diplomat. Anyway, how is the crew treating you, Silver?"-Quickblast "Well. I haven't had an attempt on my life yet, so that's a good sign. Especially with all the Federation soldiers on this ship. I'm surprised I haven't had to kill any of the crew yet...to defend myself, of course."-Man(Silver)
