I'm just curious~ I main a Warlock, but I always like to use void walker instead of Self Res or Storm caller in the Crucible.
I know Warlocks have been getting a lot of shit lately over self res and some aspects of storm caller so who here still enjoys Voidwalker?
Edit: Glad to see a lot of other people enjoy Voidwalker as much as I do haha

I know I do, I have used it for so long... And have the 200+ space magic medals to prove it. I know it's not very high but, it's an accomplishment I'm proud of. :)

Bloom. Bloom everything.
-
First subclass I used and maxed out and Im still rocking it today.
-
Void walkers have always been amazing, and they are very underrated in pve.
-
I used it in IB. Saved the super for those storm callers and hammers.
-
i havent played my warlock in a long time so i started again this IB. as a sunsinger i wasnt doing very good. even with the firebolt+viking+ToF comber thing i sucked with it. so i switched to voidwalke. instantly started doing much better. if i were to say my favorite subclass for lock it would have to be voidwalker.
-
I look at it this way... If we were ever pit against a wall and was forced to use only one class and subclass for both pve and pvp... Id go with voidwalker.... It never gets the love it deserves and i run voidwalker almost all the time... Stormcaller is good for mobs but I like being lowkey op...
-
I always use it because of blink.
-
I love it
-
-
Voidwalker is best
-
More than sunsinger
-
Voidwalker 4 lyfe
-
-
Would be more fun in nothing manacles weren't nerfed
-
For control or rift I like the void walker. Mostly because you can't plant a bomb right on a spot and force a retreat as well as kill multiples usually
-
Depends on the map for me. In tight spaces sunsinger is better because the grenades murder, and it is harder to kill a radiant warlock in close quarters. Meanwhile voidwalker has a harder time effectively blinking and nova bombs tend to hit walls, doors, and ceilings a lot. On the other hand in the open voidwalkers can blink around quickly, and can use their novas very well while sunsingers have a harder time landing grenade hits.

I love the void walker but its weak compared to the other subclasses. There are a few small changes I'd like to see changed. #1. The short glide on Nova Bomb start up is annoying. Countless times I have nova bombed doorways, pillars, and teammates because of this glide. #2. Reduce the start up time on Nova Bomb(maybe instant). Time to kill on many of the new Meta guns can easily kill a warlock before Nova Bomb is released. As soon as I turn a corner to nova bomb a target, Ive got a doctrine mowing me down before I can release it, or die after I release to trade blows. #3. Grenades are weak. Axion bolt is useful but comparing to other tracking grenades it lacks in comparison. Scatter and vortex grenades are pathetic and are laughable. Scatter can be improved but it takes an exotic slot to be useful (nerf was really unnecessary). The voidwalkers were undoubtedly designed for a strong neutral game just by looking at all the great perks but they have nothing to back those perks up.

Voidwalker since day one!
-
Mainly for pvp with scatter grenade and nothing manacles. If you can place your grenades correctly they destroy. Then I usually use nova bomb to either clean out a large group of guardians or to counter another super
-
Nova bomb inside a Titan bubble.....with bloom.....love it every time
-
I main voidwalker
-
Nothing manacles with my invective and blink is so much fun .
-
Void walker is the worst subclass in all of destiny. Prove me wrong
-
I'm not a warlock with out it.

Bu-voom
