You do the problems in the () first idiot. Its called PEMDAS Parentheses Exponents Multiplication/Division Addition/Subtraction

Yeah, I did. Unfortunately, the 2 after the six isn't inside the parentheses.

Yes but its included as an integer attached to the parentheses therefore (at least from what I was taught at public school) you do the multiplication involving the parentheses first before the division even though it appears first.
