Then why does it have a smaller player base?
-
The player base isn't too bad as far as I can tell, and I can't compare it to Destiny as I haven't played Destiny in a while :). Now gtfo from under my post!

Im there to stay friend

Bungie is learning/copying though. They're making their own twitch studio so they can do what warframe devs have done for over a year already. But that's ok. Desticles unite! Defend bungie at all costs!!!
-
But bungie already had a twitch studio... And have been doing these events for just as long... They just made a new studio... Nothing wrong with liking warframe... But when you make up crap you make yourself look dumb
-
Ikr lol
-
Weapon rebalances are not updates, neither are bug fixes. So far, the game has only had a few updates since launch.
-
Yes.... 8 of them since February 25th of last year... I went through the bungie updates and counted and left out all hot fixes and update follow ups.
-
Far more than any other game its size? LMAO...how little this one knows. There are games far larger in terms of content than Destiny that put out many more updates. Not to mention the "updates" Bungie puts out are stupid little microtransaction laced events, nothing major. All the major content you have to pay for and it has yet to deliver on its price tag.
-
i like this game too, but even you know this game has its flaws, and bungie loves to avoid addressing those flaws... but why?
-
I never said they don't have flaws... They certainly do... I disagree that they avoid addressing them... They are just slow as hell with some that we would prefer they were quicker on.. They have explained that it's because they want to collect all the data they need to make a good decision. Unlike other people I take bungie at their word for who they say they are instead of demanding they be someone else.. If they want to take their time to make sure they do it right I'm fine with that and look forward to future content releases. Tried warframe wasn't a fan, my comment seems to have brought every warframe fan out of the woodworks which is funny to see.
-
never tried warframe, but OP did bring up many good points that people have been complaining about for awhile now and yet bungie has never even addressed them
-
But soo many of them they have acknowledged and are actively addressing. For instance the crucible they have been working on and releasing fixes for constantly over the past month. As far as changing the economy of weapon parts and strange coins they made it clear they wanted to change the value of it. Which even to the point they changed it, it's not a big deal, people just had to adjust to it. They even made them available for purchase. As I have said to many here, I don't think destiny is perfect by any means. But some people like op exaggerate the hell out of it and ignore stuff that bungie has done just to make them sound worse. That's not cool
-
Edited by MrSkeeZe: 2/28/2016 7:41:27 PMi just skimmed through OPs comments in like 10 seconds and found three great examples that OP talked about that bungie has never ever really addressed but have been major issues within the gaming community. 1. Why no in game LFG? 2. Why not give weapons their own PvP and PvE values? 3. Loot, why is loot always seem to be horrible. Like, why have I done KF as many times as I have (almost 3x a week since release) yet for me to get a 320 ghost shell they literally had to hand it to me. All of these issues have been brought up time and tome again and none of them have been addressed even slightly! Okay smart loot has been addressed but I get the impression that its right where they want it so players grind their life, spending hours on end trying to get that one drop only to have to grind for a new LL a couple months later. Again, I love this game, but there are some really aggravating aspects about it that I wish they would shed some light on but instead they just ignore it all together and remain extremely secretive.
-
I agree really. I just don't turn all negative Nancy when they don't do every single thing I want them to or when I don't understand... For instance my impression from countless interviews is that bungie wants lfg to be in the hands of the community. It helps the community feel a sense of ownership in the game and I'm fine with that. And I use lfg on a weekly basis. I completely agree there are some things I wish they would hurry up and say something about. But I also know that they know a lot about the game and its future than I do, and sometimes they do things like wait to reveal information intentionally and I have a thing called patience and can wait for it.

Thanks for edifying comments friend.

I'm not your friend. No one likes you.
-
Poor guy, is this what your life consists of? Belittling people on the internet?
-
So your 'no one likes you' comment to the OP is not belittling? Just trying to clarify...
-
No.... yeah... It definitely was...
-
Nope, I'm just bored at work. But it looks like your sad life consists of living on these forums. Just judging from the number of times you've replied to comments on this godawful thread of yours, of course. Have fun with that.

Look in the mirror bro.

Final Fantasy XIV puts out one new raid every TWO MONTHS. What did Destiny do for us lately? Oh, nerfing Fusion Rifles, put in a shitty matchmaking system in Crucible, and doing -blam!--all about Year One endgame content.
-
to be fair final Fantasy has had time to do things right
