Do you actually belive the us needs needs more money/soldiers to fight isis?
In my opinion i think that it is insane for the us military to want more founding. You guys are more powerfull in every aspect of your military.

Most members of isis barely have any training other than hold to hold a gun. While military trained soldiers can out smart, out play and out gun a isis soldier almost everytime. Even with that the us army is estimated to have more soldiers than isis.

Do you even think this is close by any means? Isis does not have a navy, they do not have an airforce, they barely have tanks and the tanks they have a decades behind american technology. Isis are allegedly using chinese ak-47s for its duarability. Let me repeat that: a 70 year old gun. Are you telling me that the worlds largest military cant beat a 70 year old gun? Not to talk about things like protective gear, first aid kits and medics giving american soldiers a much higher chance of survival.
From what ive seen the us is stronger in every way and they have help from france, syria and russia(not allied).
Please explain how the us would need more money or soldiers to beat isis.

Also look how well armies do against guerrilla fighters! They always lose because civilian deaths are nowadays unacceptable & the fighters just blend in till they attack & melt away again

6 RepliesGuerrilla warfare is hard to counter. Also fighting a group who doesn't mind using innocent lives. A fine example from history is the Vietnam War. We had tech, but the VC were experts at guerilla warfare. We slowly won battles but...in the end, we had to pull out because the media killed off American moral. Americans started getting that branding of killing civilians and the like. We can be the most advanced morally and technologically, but sometimes being the most advanced can be a drawback.

2 RepliesA large amount of ISIS soldiers were trained by Al Qaeda who were trained by the CIA and they have some experienced military commanders. I'm not saying that they are anywhere bar as trained as the U.S. Armed forces but they are better trained than holding a gun.

7 RepliesM8, all those better equipment and training doesn't exactly stop an IED from getting you. The thing is that it's like we're trying to kill a few dangerous guys in a crowded place. If anyone but those people are injured or killed, we have essentially failed. However, the other side has the ability to both kill the non-fighters and possibly use them as a shield, and if anything, it makes them win more. When you get down to it...they're an idea. An idea so outdated it seems alien to the rest of the world, using technology to refine the effectiveness of the idea. But, no matter how you cut it, ideas are hard to kill.
