Well their is nothing that a Precursors has to fear. The group of Precursors in the Milky Way let the Forerunners kill them because they had never gone extinct before. Although some like the Primordial wanted to resist and were stopped by the rest of the Precursors.

Sooooo they don't fear death, destruction of their own race? The release of the flood?

Edited by Edcub One: 2/23/2016 3:40:34 AMThey are transcendent reality warpers, there is nothing that can kill them in the Halo universe (or any physical universe), not even the Halos themselves. Actually the Flood is The results of the remains of 1000 precursors who turned their bodies to dust to be restored at a later date being corrupted (supposedly it was the passing of 10 million years that corrupted the dust, but it may have also been the Primordial).

Huh fascinating. I wander what the vex would do with these guys because they successfully recreated Oryx in their image when they breached the Throne World. I wander if they could recreate the Precursor to further study and destroy it if necessary

Edited by Edcub One: 2/23/2016 3:50:15 AMThe peak of the Vex to my knowledge is them becoming one with the universe and being making their existence a law of physics. So I wouldn't think so as these beings are not based on time or space.

How were they created? The Precursors I mean
-
Unknown. The two main ideas of mine are they either always existed, or they existed in a physical universe then transcended somehow. They are the creators of all known life in halo, so maybe they always existed and decided to create? But in the end, idk.

Edited by LupusAranea: 2/23/2016 5:40:33 PMDo you think they are remenets of the universe before the big bang?
-
Maybe

The the vex would attempt to write them into their own time and space
