The Precursors didn't fight back, they wanted to experience extinction as they had not had it happen to them yet. They are beyond time and space so they would not be killed by their physical deaths.

Ok, but for destiny could they erase anything from the destiny universe (I ask because the destiny universe is not the same as the one they created, so do they hold power there)?
